    Just spent 10 hours without power at home due to an outage — no phone service (or battery). I took a good nap, read a bit, and went for a walk. I had to listen to the radio (news) in my garage, since I didn’t have anything else analog at home. Thankfully, the water was still running, which made things a lot easier. A forced disconnection… honestly, it wasn’t that bad but made me rethink about lots of things on the way I live. 🔋

    Working from home usually means a quick lunch and straight back to the screen. But today, with the gorgeous weather in Madrid, I took a short walk around the block and grabbed an espresso at the corner café. Sipping it in the sun was such a small moment — but so energizing.

    Had to head to the bank this morning to make a payment (yes, in person — I know, right?). I decided to walk there. The route took me through some lovely streets around the office... Bonus: saved some emissions and got my steps in!

      I have to admit - as I work from home - often I do not see "daylight" before I start work. The times I need to "do something" before I turn on my PC - often creates a much nicer start to the day. Spending time outside before work more often is something I strive to do more often.

    I avoid ordering food—not for lack of convenience, but to cut down on carbon emissions. In the past year I have reduced from 3-4 times per week to 0- 1 time. One meal = one trip, lots of packaging, and extra waste. Plus, I love cooking and this is part of my my feel-good ritual. 🌱🍳
