Emerson and NI employees got together for a clean up event this morning. Met a lot of hard working people. Lost track of how many shopping carts were discovered. Felt good to leave the park nicer than the way we found it. Good work everyone!

Earth month is going good so far. Having the ecochallenge really helps me be more conscientious of what I'm doing and the effects it has.

Not the best picture, so I'll explain. This is a bird nest on top of a light fixture. Pretty clever location - protected from wind, rain, predators. Enjoyed by employees entering the building, if they even notice it.

Proud of the AUS/RR Grean Team for toughing it out in the drizzle and humidity. Representing for the Austin 2nd annual E-Waste Day. Great job volunteers.

Clothing rental companies... who knew???

These charts just really hit home showing how the modern industrial era has dramatically impacted extinction in a negative way. That ramp up is just unprecedented. And just as importantly, the human causes of species endangerment 1. Habitat loss 2. Invasive species 3. Overexploitation and 4. Pollution.
