    Starting my ecochallenge today, I have been busy but now I am going to try to dedicate time to update at least once every few days. Hoping to get establish some good habits with this!

    I found out there is a regenerative farm (3 acres) near my home. I hope to visit at some point. I am interested especially in thier success wiht plumeria nad berries becasue iwould like to grow those in my back yard. It is all about soil health.

    At Xmas I got my kids and myself these reusable dish towels that stick to each other in aroll like paper towels. Then I didn't use mine. But my daughter told me she has not used paper towels since January, becasue these reusable ones work so well, so I started trying them! They actually work great and save a lot of paper towels!

    Planning my meals for the week or the next day in advance is very helpful. It helps me keep track of my calories and not waste any time and food thinking of what to eat. Meal Prepping is an easy way to control what you eat and reduce waste.

    My ecochallenge is going okay. Today I went out to a neighborhood park and explored surrounding areas and hiking trails near by.

    Velella, by the wind sailors. They wash up on CA shores every year, and just washed up a few nights ago at the local beach after high winds. The are actually coloies of polyps. Related to Portuguese man of War. Eat smaller plankton and invertebrate eggs. Dry out quickly so must be adding some kind of nutrients to the beaches. One part of life...

    Every time I push myself to talke a litter-picking walk this month something nice has happened - I saw a rocket take off from Vandenburg with a sunset background, I saw "By the Wind Sailors" on the beach, i agthered bamboo sticks for my tomato cages, or I spent time with my daughters. Each walk has been a win win win,
