Use a Reusable Water Bottle

Itr's estimated over a billion water bottles are thrown away each year. Even if they were recycled, that still uses energy and resources from the earth. I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 3 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

Studies have shown that when we spend consistent time in nature, our health improves, our creativity increases, and our connection to the planet gets stronger. Each day of the Ecochallenge, I will spend 30 minutes outside (in a large or small patch of nature), then share my observations, reflections, and learnings on the feed.

    How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

    I wasn't able to plant a tree this month, but I know another way to plant trees and be satisfied about your work. It's an app, it's called FOREST, and by staying focused on your task, it gives you the chance to plant a real tree.
    I like it so much, it helps me to get over procrastinating and staying focused on my work, study, reading, or whatever.

    WEEKLY MEAL PLANNING
    I want to share my journey in meal preparation, as I know how much it takes for me to implement this like a habit now.
    It took me 1 year of cooking and storage food for the entire week until I found a method that work for me and save time.
    I was starting watching youtube videos of meal prep, trying a lot of recipes. At first I was storage food in a few containers, like the rice in one container, the meat in another one, then putting together my food in one container for work every evening or morning. It was working like this for 2 days I can say, but then I was losing my appetite for that food. I was trying to save more space in the fridge using few containers, but like that I throw away food because not eating it.
    So that's how I started making a container for a meal.
    Every week I am sure that I have 10 containers of food for working days, for me and my husband. In the morning, we usually eat an oatmeal, and then in the evening something light and fast.
    My cooking day is Sunday, and I am trying to cook everything in 2 hours, but it depends on recipes.
    I am making 3 recipes per week and my method is (trying) to use the same main ingredients, so that I am not buying excessive food, and when I am using the oven, I try to cook as much as I can in it, so that I am also saving electricity. I have some standard recipes that I am cooking every week and making sure to include vegetables, fruits, dairy, meat, and this is also based on what I have left in the freezer or pantry.
    I am working right now at a dashboard with all my recipes and ingredients available, linked to each other to making my life easier.

    Today I went out for a run and a workout and I ended up running 6 kilometres with an old friend accidentally meeting on the running track. What a great time we had! 🙌🏻
