April 18 at 6:14 PMI joined a birdwatching group, and it feels great to know that other people also care about the small details that help protect our local birds.

April 18 at 1:49 PMMy earth month ecochallenge 2025 is going well. I've completed two of the global academy courses while beginning two more. I've been sure to attend sustainability meetings, follow posts, and voice ideas. I'm educating myself in my free time while taking care of what I do currently have or have control over: how long my showers are, how I'm...

April 17 at 3:52 PMI hosted a clean up at a local park, the trail we signed up for didn't have much trash so we all decided to go throughout the rest of the park and found lots of trash from flood debris from a flood a month back. We found shoes, a box of KFC chicken, ranch dressing bottles, it was various unexpected litter. I was afraid I would be doing it...

April 17 at 11:34 AMMy partner and I purchased biodegradable floss picks this go around. It was an easy switch and just goes to show there are so many sustainable options out there!
-
April 17 at 11:09 AMI was able to replace the chemicals that I was using to clean my bathroom. I am using less harsh products that I have around the house already (i.e. baking soda and vinegar). I also purchased some cleaning products from Blueland which are reusable and clean.

April 17 at 7:06 AMMost plastics used were packaging holding other packaging!

April 17 at 4:17 AMPotatoes and garlic are going well
-
April 17 at 3:28 AMI felt good about my indoor and outdoor water usage... but never considered virtual. That was a big eye opener. Diet is the biggest thing I can change quickly
