Need to grow more of our own food and add in more meatless Mondays. We also use a lot of fuel for travel for work and personal in my household. Will be looking to reduce trips.

6th Annual Earth Day event at Lookout Mountain Conservancy. This year we prepared beds for their community garden.

We have a little work to in our household

I plant some Snapdragons on my deck planter, which the bees enjoy.

Getting involved in your local community allows you to see what's impacting it, build relationships with neighbors that you may not know, and see that it takes a village to make a community work together. When you help a friend, neighbor, or just another human, it has a rippling impact on so many more than just that one individual.

In my county we have a county help center where the community can drop off donations. Donations are then put up for sale. All proceeds are then available for families in need via grants. The help center also offers the ability to shop the location in the event of emergency due to fire or other disasters. This week we were able to donate 6 boxes...

I wanted to help. It’s important to me to be involved in organizations that are trying to do good things.
