We have a little work to in our household

Getting involved in your local community allows you to see what's impacting it, build relationships with neighbors that you may not know, and see that it takes a village to make a community work together. When you help a friend, neighbor, or just another human, it has a rippling impact on so many more than just that one individual.

In my county we have a county help center where the community can drop off donations. Donations are then put up for sale. All proceeds are then available for families in need via grants. The help center also offers the ability to shop the location in the event of emergency due to fire or other disasters. This week we were able to donate 6 boxes...

I wanted to help. It’s important to me to be involved in organizations that are trying to do good things.

I love to volunteer to re-ground myself. It can get so easy to get caught up in all of our little day to day adult tasks, but having a moment WITH people FOR people makes everything worth it. I encourage myself to volunteer at least once a month to fill my cup!
