Recent updates from this team-
April 30 at 6:32 PMThis makes me feel energized and excited. It's so exciting to see the impact of the cleanup and how much trash was removed.
-
April 30 at 6:31 PMWhen I fly. Looking at vacation time differently and is there an opportunity to not fly. Also I have to drive for work, but making sure on my off time to limit drive time and carpool, take the train or walk/bike when possible
-
April 30 at 6:30 PMWe can all limit our water usage. Taking 5 minute showers, doing laundry when it is full and not small loads more often, not letting the water run, using rain water and left over water to water the outdoor plants.
-
April 30 at 6:28 PMSpending consistent time outside gives me more energy and makes me want to continue to spend more time outside. It also allows me to explore new areas.
-
April 30 at 1:15 PMOver the whole month, I took walks in several different places: the Smoky Mountains, Radnor Lake, and parts of the Appalachian Mountain system. On each of these walks, I took time to observe, listen, and take in what each space offered. I felt more relaxed and uplifted in spirit when leaving each of these places.
-
April 30 at 1:04 PMMy energy audit was done both at work and at home. It allowed me to pause and rethink how my energy is used daily. I know it's a learning process, so I'm taking it slow to find what really works for me.
-
April 30 at 9:19 AMHoneysuckle! 3 new plants in my yard against the fence to allow it space to climb.
-
April 30 at 9:17 AMPicked up a bunch of trash around the Clinton Lake State park this weekend while camping. Sad how many disposables are along the trails and in the lake.
-
April 30 at 9:16 AMWe were mindful of what could be composted versus trashed during our camping trip this weekend. Easier than I thought it would be.
-
April 30 at 9:15 AMI spend plenty of time outside every weekend but struggle during the week with most of my work done in front of a screen. Finding new ways to hold space for myself for a midday break to step outside, or weed my garden each evening even if not the clearest weather. Amazing how much closer to our planet and people I can feel just being outside.
