April 14 at 4:09 PMThis challenge is rather difficult for me in the aspect of unlearning to use plastic bags. I've used them a lot and the process of remembering my reusable bags, whether its the three I keep in my purse or the ones i bought specifically for groceries, it does get a bit challenging to keep the pattern of using my reusable bags in store.

April 14 at 4:05 PMI try to always make sure that my two animals don't contribute harm the local wildlife around my house, especially since I live in front of a bayou. I also believe as responsible pet owners you have to be aware of the different species native to the area around and how certain household pets can and will damage them, and its also good to note...

April 14 at 4:00 PMAt home, I often try to avoid using a lot of plastic, I'm a big fan of blind boxes, and it always upsets me at just how much plastic is used in those small boxes, I try to curve purchasing them as to not contribute to more waste and over consumption, but the cute faces make it so hard :]

April 14 at 10:26 AMThis months conservations are going extremely well as I am donating and decluttering lots of items as I will be moving to Seattle for the Summer then either staying or moving out East. So, lots of downsizing, sifting through my items, and repurposing found items.

April 13 at 7:52 AMIve already shared so many photos of my raised garden beds, but i now understand why plant obsession exists. The joy of seeing them grow, and it gives me something to stay busy. I was finding myself exhausted after work and just sitting around. This keeps me busy and learning.

April 13 at 6:25 AMI already use reusable grocery bags as trash bags for smaller trash cans in my house!
-
April 13 at 6:24 AMWe keep our dogs in a fence in our back yard. When we take them out of the yard we take them on a leash and not a retractible one. We also have our cats inside. They do not go outside.

April 13 at 6:23 AMI would love to start using reusable sandwich and snack bags! I can use them in my sons lunch and be able to save 3-4 plastic sandwich bags a day. I wish there was an alternative to plastic trashbags because we go throw a lot of plastic trash bags at my house. I will look into this more!

April 13 at 6:22 AMwow! And I have 5 people in my family. We try not to throw out food. My kids take our leftovers for lunch at school if there are any. Most of the time we throw away food that we cook too much off and get tired of eating the leftovers. :( I would rather use that money to put towards debt and become debt free faster!

April 13 at 6:18 AMI joined the challenge to learn more actions I can take to be more ecofriendly. I try to be as ecofriendly as possible in my store but I also want to encourage and take actions outside of my store.
