    Freshwater + Oceans Go Plastic-Free
Where did plastic show up on your life that surprised you the most? What plastic alternative products did you discover you may switch to?

I was surprised to see how much plastic showed up in my life during trips to the beach and waterfalls. It's disheartening to find plastic littering in such beautiful natural spaces. In response, alternatives like wooden spoons and forks, paper cups and plates may be used. We can also use eco bags as these are not only reusable but also come in handy for carrying items during outdoor adventures. Making the switch to these items is a small but meaningful step towards reducing my plastic footprint and protecting our environment. 🌱

Land + Forests Borrow Before I Buy
How did you participate in the sharing economy? (Consider posting a photo!) What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How could a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with friends, family and/or neighbors?

Our family love game nights. But instead of buying cards and boards games, we just borrow from our friends or other relative. The reason behind this really is just to save money since buying a games are not really practical especially if we're just going to use it only for a night. I didn't realize that by doing this, it also saves the Earth and lessen our waste. By this, I encourage my family more to give and share what we have if someone needs it. Also by shopping at our local thrift and neighborhood garage sales.

Spending time outside has made me feel more connected to nature and rejuvenated. I've noticed significant improvement in my mood and overall well-being. Being surrounded by greenery has reduced my stress levels and help me feel more grounded and present in the moment. I've found that spending time outside consistently has been essential for my mental and emotional health, providing me with a sense of peace and balance in my life.

Holy Week was so fun. In our province it's a tradition to watch Cenakulo with friends are there will be food stalls around. I brought my tumbler with me so if I want something to drink like a fruit shake, I'll ask the vendor to put it on my tumbler instead. This way, I won't be using any straws, and the cold drink will be insulated :)

I have always been a fan of reusable bags. I make sure that every time I go out I bring my reusable bag with me so if ever that there's an unexpected run to the grocery or shop, I have my bag with me.
