Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.

    When you try a zero waste day you become aware of how much packaging and trash we produce in a day. It was a good exercise to give more attention to this.

      I was reflecting on that on my way this morning. Now my recycle bin is the one with the most things in it. It is all packaging. I started to use reusable bags even for my fruits and vegetables, but I need to may more attention on what I buy and how it is packaged.

      That's totally true! Now when I go to the market, I never ask for paper or plastic bags. I put everything loose in my basket and place fragile items in small reusable canvas bags.

      Absolutely agree. Periodically, I find myself desensitized to the amount of plastic I generate. It's a protein bar here and a bag of chips there but it does add up. It's wonderful to refocus and become more mindful again!

    With my school association with organized a christmas for a orphin’s home. We raised funds to buy gifts and christmas snacks. I had the privilege to disguise as Santa for a day 🤣

    I started to take small naps at noon instead of lunch during Ramadan. I decided to pursue this after this holy month. I found that I am less tired during 1 pm and 3 pm because digesting uses a lot of my energy.

    I joined a clean up effort of my school named Green Beach to clean up Mourillon Beach in Toulon

    I learnt a lot about my neighborhood and the suburb where I live. I enjoy it because i feel less lonely and know that they could help me in case of any needs!
