Many NGOs are asking members to donate for a matched donation of 5x!

I hate to admit that I didn't even really think of it, but I didn't have a first aid kit in the house, just a VERY old one meant for travel. So I bought things for everyday needs and a kit for bigger emergencies. The articles got me thinking too that I had literally nothing for my pets if something went wrong, so I got two kits. One for in the...

Gatherings for Easter always include veggie & fruit trays! It was so nice to enjoy a nutritious meal with family. Incorporating more vegetables into breakfast is an easy win lately with a veggie omelet to kick the day off to a good start.

I have always been a regular on donating to Goodwill. With our household soon to shrink a bit more as we send one off to college, we did some major cleaning out with more to come. The Freeshare site is interesting and something we may be able to use in the future.

I've also purchased a plant based cling wrap but I'm not sure it's as good as they make it out to be. Baby steps! I have metal travel containers for water and coffee which I didn't think about before...

I have multiple wildflower gardens around the yard. Last year, we dug up more grass on the west side of our yard to do another strip of wildflowers. In cleaning out my main garden, I was able to dig up several beards tongue plants that were popping up in places I didn't want them and transfer them to the new garden. I will hopefully have more...

I'm a native flower gardener but not so great with house plants and vegetables. I've gotten better with house plants over the years. I still struggle with the right vegetables for my garden area. The shade/sun mix changes all season long.

Small actions = Big impact. Let's lighten our footprint, one unplug at a time. Try going for a walk, read a book or simply enjoy the quiet by spending 1 hour tech-free. #UnplugandRecharge #DigitalDetox #GreenHabits

Since learning about moths as important pollinators, I am turning off my exterior lights when I go to bed at night to not distract and confuse them.
