    Philly is a tricky area as it seems like litter is constantly an issue. However, doing my part to keep my local area cleaner really feels like I can make an impact and hopefully others can see and also do their part!

    In a busy month, it is sometimes difficult to find time to volunteer in my community. But I have found it valuable checking in on my own time to learn about my ecosystem and how several small acts can make a difference.

    Living in Philadelphia, it's difficult to be in nature, but I'm happy to go to FDR Park and on local nature walks/hikes with my dog to be outside!

    Walked around adjoining neighborhood and noticed the beautiful uphill view from the open space down to St. Georges Bridge

    It feels great to declutter and also reuse items by repurposing them to others.

    I always bring around my giant Verdantas water bottle which always keeps my water nice and chilled!

    I have been using the app, "Seek" by inaturalist for a few years now and it's always fascinating to see the different species in my area. I really enjoy seeing the variety and learning about each one.

    I love using a reusable water bottle. It's also a cheaper option compared to single use plastic bottles.
