    In a busy month, it is sometimes difficult to find time to volunteer in my community. But I have found it valuable checking in on my own time to learn about my ecosystem and how several small acts can make a difference.

    Living in Philadelphia, it's difficult to be in nature, but I'm happy to go to FDR Park and on local nature walks/hikes with my dog to be outside!

    I have been using the app, "Seek" by inaturalist for a few years now and it's always fascinating to see the different species in my area. I really enjoy seeing the variety and learning about each one.

    I love using a reusable water bottle. It's also a cheaper option compared to single use plastic bottles.

    I'm really curious about my diet's carbon impact. I do eat and enjoy meat, so I wonder what my impact would be if I cut out meat on some days while still hitting my nutritional needs!
