April 26 at 9:13 AMIn a busy month, it is sometimes difficult to find time to volunteer in my community. But I have found it valuable checking in on my own time to learn about my ecosystem and how several small acts can make a difference.
-
April 19 at 6:12 AMLiving in Philadelphia, it's difficult to be in nature, but I'm happy to go to FDR Park and on local nature walks/hikes with my dog to be outside!
-
April 12 at 12:40 PMGoing good - I forget to report here, but I am taking in the ideas and applying (or considering) them in my day-to-day.
-
April 12 at 12:39 PMWalked around adjoining neighborhood and noticed the beautiful uphill view from the open space down to St. Georges Bridge
-
April 12 at 12:36 PMIt feels great to declutter and also reuse items by repurposing them to others.
-
April 8 at 8:59 AMI always bring around my giant Verdantas water bottle which always keeps my water nice and chilled!
-
April 8 at 8:58 AMI have been using the app, "Seek" by inaturalist for a few years now and it's always fascinating to see the different species in my area. I really enjoy seeing the variety and learning about each one.
-
April 8 at 6:27 AMPlanted 5 native shrubs, a native tree, and a ton of native flowers yesterday!
-
April 5 at 6:07 AMI love using a reusable water bottle. It's also a cheaper option compared to single use plastic bottles.
-
April 2 at 12:43 PMI'm really curious about my diet's carbon impact. I do eat and enjoy meat, so I wonder what my impact would be if I cut out meat on some days while still hitting my nutritional needs!
