    We donated several items to a local non-profit organization called Beaver Creek Reserve. They will use them in a "Rummage Sale" for income. Anything not sold will go to Goodwill. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

    I hatched out mason bees for the first time. Today I could see them in and out of their new home. This way I know I will have more cocoons for next spring.

    The Smoky Mountains are all around me. It is absolutely beautiful to see everyday. The benefits are getting much needed exercise and fresh air.

    I feel that too many trees are cut down in my area close to the Great Smoky Mountains with many cabins going up. I feel that before long there won't be a beautiful place to come visit and enjoy the great outdoors and nature.

    During April I've been much more present in my time outdoors watching daily bloom cycles for the tulips, daffodils, iris and trees like cherry, pear, forsythia and tulip. On rainy days, I sit quietly on the porch during my outdoor time and listen for insect, bird and animal sounds. There's a lot going on out there when you really take a listen....

    Took a trip to Savannah, GA. this past weekend and made purchases from Savannah Bee Co.! What an exceptional business! I learned so much about the impact bees have on our environment, inside and out! I am all about saving the bees!
