This took a great deal of thought and planning. I didn't realize until I tried how much I waste; paper towels, tissues. Switched to cloth and had to slow down, remember and make the switch task to task. Amazing what one person wastes!

Fun Fact: An automatic dishwasher uses less hot water than doing dishes by hand, an average of six gallons less per cycle, or over 2,000 gallons per year.

My water footprint isn’t horrible but could be better. I need to do further research on ways I can do better. Water scarcity is a concern and something we see more and more.

I definitely need to compost food that can be composted. I need to use loose tea in a reusable tea holder instead of tea bags. I also need to find a new option for my husband’s K-cups. A lot to do but one item at a time.

It is so neat to see all the photos of blooming trees, flowers, gardens, etc. Gets me excited for what will eventually happen in my yard and neighborhood.
