    The Earth is the cradle of humanity, but mankind cannot stay in the cradle forever. Life is abundant, and life is beautiful. And it's a good place that we're all in, you know, on this earth, if we take care of it.

    If you are already signed up for your utility's renewable option, what other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage? If your company doesn't offer a renewable option, were they open to your request of this in the future?

    Keep your lights off to the extent safely possible, including exterior lights that may be on a timer. Set your thermostat to 78 degrees or higher, health permitting, and turn your air conditioner off when not at home. Move any furniture blocking vents to be sure air is flowing efficiently.

    The audit helped determine how much energy the home uses, where your home is inefficient, and which problem areas and fixes you should prioritize to save energy and improve the comfort of your home.

      i feel like it doesnt hit us how much energy we use until we do an audit of our daily lives!

    Driving a car is a major source of greenhouse gasses. Cutting down on the miles you drive is one of the best things you can do for reducing carbon emissions.

    Eat up to two meals per week of fish low in mercury. A meal is 6 ounces of uncooked fish for adults, or 2 ounces of uncooked fish for children under 15. All Other Individuals: Eat no more than one meal per week of fish high in mercury, including largemouth bass caught in the state.

    The common ground approach can bring people together during a conflict. When you focus on what you have in common, you can see eye to eye. This can help you feel more at ease with someone who doesn't agree with you. You can develop empathy for each other.

    With my wife's sensitive skin I was able to understand that products are not meant for everyone so now I am more conscious is getting skin sensitive products and ones that don't have too many chemicals.
