    I was driving home and saw the sun set. I was so captivated with the beauty I just had to pull over and take a picture. I also sat there for a few minutes to clear my mind from the workload of earlier that day.

    Seeing the types of items being discarded highlights just how little we actually reuse, recycle, and compost. By cleaning up my local area, I feel like I'm making a healthier and cleaner space for others to enjoy.

    In our community we have a small stream that we keep clean weekly. We also have a park with baseball fields, soccer fields and a pickleball court that we try to maintain as a community on a daily basis. Supporting these causes has helped with my Eco challenge contributions.

    I am always shocked to see organic peppers wrapped in plastic on a Styrofoam tray in the grocery store. Completely defeats the purpose of buying organic if it's going to be wrapped in petrolium.
