Pollinators are responsible for so much of the food we eat and the beauty we enjoy! I’ll continue to plant pollinator plants when gardening, and also avoid mowing too early in the season.

In high school I volunteered at Dawes Arboretum removing invasive garlic mustard from the woods and pathways. Yesterday, I walked through Schenley after work and removed about 5 of these piles with a friend. In our 1.5-mile walk, we also saw other piles of garlic mustard others had removed! Very encouraging to see :) P.S. If you collect garlic mustard this time of year, it makes a great pesto!

I spread the word about 412 Food Rescue, a local organization that picks up food donations and takes them to people/groups that need it. Today, we were able to donate 90 pounds of produce, and it's going to a children's charity event!! It feels great to make a local impact :)

We're adding another bed to the Edible Garden, and instead of wood, we'll be using recycled plastic lumber! I'd much rather plastic be upcycled into useful materials like this when possible.

The Universe chose today, for me to discover, the Homestead Labyrinth! This is located in the Waterfront, at the end of the trail, by the river.
With the Minds Intention set at ‘Letting It Go, So All Can Flow’ repeated in my mind as I walked the Grass/Stone Labyrinth at a Moderate Pace.
When I reached the Center, I sat criss cross and continued to keep my mind clear of all chatter, besides that Mantra!
It is Amazing how grounded I felt when finished. My soul felt lighter while my feet felt connected to earth!
This was a Great Reminder to Meditate More Often! It Truly is Releasing and Healing!

I replaced my laundry detergent with detergent sheets! It was important to me that I continue to have fragrance-free options to avoid irritating my sensitive skin, and this did the trick without the plastic waste or mess of a typical detergent container! I'm going to keep using these :)
