    Love plants, grew up with a house full of them. I need to practice and lean the best times of year to plant certain things, and how to prevent pests such as whiteflies from taking over, while not using pesticides.

    It's hard to put into words exactly how being outside makes me feel. There's strong evidence that being outside improves your overall mental health; especially for young(er) people. The phrase "touch grass" really does have positive effects! Listening to the birds and squirrels while enjoying a cup of tea is what I particularly enjoy....

    We get our water from our municipality and they charge a high price for water they get from the sky for free. Their water tax inspires me to use less of the city water!
