Amid the swirling pollen and swelling flower buds I found this little miracle in a new nest box.

When my boys were little, we often prepped by playing a "lifesaving game" where we assessed our options in case of different kinds of disasters. The boys knew where to meet up and who to contact in case something happened to us. Even our dogs knew what to do in case of a tornado watch. I've realized that it's been a few years since...

Hosted and attended my friends' and I's Raleigh Really Really Free Market at Eliza Pool Park this Sunday! It was a beautiful day at the park and so many cool things were shared amongst the community!! There was also a drumline playing during the market 🥁 This picture is before everyone showed up!! The sun looked so pretty coming through the...

I recently completed the Beginner Beekeeper course with the Wake County Beekeeper's Association and earned my certificate as a certified beekeeper! This 10-week course was a wonderful experience, and I learned so much that I didn't already know about bees and pollination. Did you know that strawberries take multiple pollinations to make a...

I picked up packages of bees and we installed them in our 2 new hives at our home!
