    This past weekend I spent an hour decluttering my home, and instead of throwing things into the trash, I posted them in a community group and gave the items away to individuals that could make use of these particular things.

    Often times when going to buy a drink from a Dunkin Donuts, or a Starbucks they provide both plastic cups and straws. An awesome substitution for that would be carrying my reusable cup with me and providing it to limit the amount of plastic waste circulating.

    I’ve recently had a smart water meter installed as well as replaced a leaky shut off valve and have invested in a large jug of water to maintain in the fridge for drinking use instead of having to continually run the faucet.

    The ocean acts as a sponge and absorbs the heat and carbon dioxide from global warming and human life, but it’s starting to take a toll on the ocean wildlife and ecosystems. I didn’t know this and find it all very interesting.

    It has long bothered me, and I don't know how to fix it, that healthy products (fruits and veggies) are often wrapped in plastic. Carrots come in bags, mixed salad greens come in plastic containers. I get the need to keep it sanitary, but I hate the plastic. It's all recyclable, but still, it seems ironic that the healthiest foods often come...
