April 22 at 12:39 PMJoining a group helped me meet people in my community I probably would not have otherwise met.

April 17 at 6:08 AMHere are some of the little seedlings I’ve been growing.
-
April 10 at 9:35 AMI have a grow-light with several pods to grow seedlings. I started growing a few different kinds of herbs recently and some of them have gotten big enough that I was able to repot them which is always really satisfying :)

April 6 at 11:40 AMI’m helping organize my church’s annual yard sale and I find it really fulfilling to see so many items donated that will have an extended life. Any items not sold are first offered to refugee families and then donated to habitat for humanity in an effort to let as little go to waste as possible.

April 4 at 6:47 AMMy Earth month ecochallenge 2025 is going well! I joined a book club to help for community and connection, I am incorporating more meatless meals and meditation for health and well-being, I have learned a lot about pollinators and choosing forest friendly foods.

I've enjoyed eating seaweed since I was a kid but I will make a more conscious effort moving forward to...

April 3 at 10:20 AMI haven't successfully kept a garden since I was a child, mostly due to space constraints. I'm making a plan now to see what I can grow in my limited indoor/outdoor spaces!

April 3 at 7:11 AMI definitely need to update my emergency survival kit. I think it maybe has half of the recommended items in it. This was a good reminder to get prepared before an emergency happens.

April 2 at 1:05 PMI was surprised to learn that the category I emit the most carbon in is travel. I don't travel by plane very often and I drive a fairly fuel efficient car but my travel output was nearly double that of my consumption. It's definitely something I'll need to be more conscious of whenever making travel arrangements in the future.

April 2 at 8:38 AMIt's estimated that one out of every three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators! They also help keep our air clean, and our ecosystem thriving! To ensure they continue to thrive, simple things we can do include planting pollinator friendly gardens, reducing use of pesticides, and offering water sources outside like bird baths or fountains.
