As Earth Month draws to a close, I'm filled with an immense sense of gratitude and pride for what we've achieved together on the Guardians of the Green team for the ODP Corporation! To every member of our team: thank you for your commitment, enthusiasm, and the genuine care you've shown for our planet throughout this challenge! Each small...

Forests offer a myriad of benefits beyond carbon sequestration. Personally, they provide a serene escape from urban life, reducing stress and improving mood. The natural beauty of forests enhances well-being through calming scenery and opportunities for recreation, such as hiking or picnicking. Additionally, forests contribute to cleaner air,...

A coworker and I (Lisa H!) got together for lunch and shared information. We watched videos on water filtration to eliminate microplastics, and a video on the Interceptor 007 that was installed in LA a year or so ago to catch plastics coming downstream in the river before they make it to the Pacific. We did follow up research on these as well...

I have appreciated reading about the thoughts and actions of others. Inspiring and encouraging.

Last day, but really the first. I have enjoyed thinking more about conservation and saving precious resources.

In my area, several rivers, lakes and reservoirs have precautionary advisories in place for some species of fish. A precautionary advisory means children, expectant mothers and nursing mothers should not eat the fish, and everyone else should limit their intake of the fish to one meal each month.
