I used the re-usable lunch wrap we received on Earth Day last week.

I cycled to work today, it was great!

We did a waste walk around our facility with more than 20 colleagues!

There is a lot of plastic in the world. Sometimes I think it is quite handy. We have to be aware of what we buy and how it is packed. It of course starts with the producers of the packing for the daily food. They have to find another way of packing which is not that worse for the planet and easy to recycle.

With the month of April is almost over. I hope everyone got a chance to learn new things about conservation and intend to make it a long term habit.

One approach to conservation I follow now consistently is always reuse the towels and do not ask hotel staff to change my sheets when I am traveling for business. In some hotels they have free water dispensers across the hotel so you can use reusable bottles

Food waste is challenging area for me. During my attempt for zero waste day I have come to realize that I have food waste that i need to better manage.

In my quest to assess the amount of waste we produce on a daily basis, I stumbled upon a useful website that features a global waste calculator.
