April 25 at 1:33 PMI learned about the importance of having a similar quantity of lifeforms in each species, rather than just species diversity. It was great to see so many Emerson people in the chat and to hear from Mike Train about Emerson's sustainability initiatives.

April 25 at 10:27 AMWe all want clean water, free of contaminants and toxins, to drink and bathe. We may not all agree on sources of contamination, but making water quality monitoring widely available helps us all.
-
April 24 at 4:51 PMOur TC Green Team was represented at our employee engagement fair today. We gave out flower seed packets, shared what we have been working on, and promoted our mission.

April 24 at 9:49 AMFrom Giovanna's presentation during the ECOCHALLENGE Conservation Webinar, I learned that it's not just the quantity of individuals that remain for a species to be considered "healthy" and not "threatened", but also the occurrence of generically diverse variants that's important as well. April 23 at 7:59 PMHoping for some good weather for our tree planting activity on Friday, but the forecast is for thunderstorms. Not too many days left in our Eco Challenge month.

April 23 at 6:05 AMThe logistics of this action were more challenging than I anticipated. There are so many demands on our time that even the lunch hour has become full of meetings. I attended someone else's LnL, and it was educational and productive.

April 22 at 6:31 AM"100% carbon commute" today.
-
April 22 at 6:29 AM#earthmonthatEmerson #earthmonthecochallenge. Happy Earth Day! Find a way this month to take action. Emerson and its employees are engaged across the world with conservation and sustainability actions for ourselves, our customers, and our planet. Here's a few snaps from my 100% carbon commute into the office today. Ready for the sustainable...

April 21 at 6:36 PMOur garden club had our annual seedling event last week. I got tomatoes, basil, rosemary, jalapeno and poblano peppers, and a geranium. Looking okay so far! They need to stay indoors for another month or so.
