Our TC Green Team was represented at our employee engagement fair today. We gave out flower seed packets, shared what we have been working on, and promoted our mission.

From Giovanna's presentation during the ECOCHALLENGE Conservation Webinar, I learned that it's not just the quantity of individuals that remain for a species to be considered "healthy" and not "threatened", but also the occurrence of generically diverse variants that's important as well. It was an interesting and informative...

Hoping for some good weather for our tree planting activity on Friday, but the forecast is for thunderstorms. Not too many days left in our Eco Challenge month.

The hardest thing is how limited the options can be for trying to eliminate plastic. Many household products used to come in glass and cardboard containers, but that is rare now unless one seeks out a specialty retailer. Target and Walmart don't make it easy to be green.

#earthmonthatEmerson #earthmonthecochallenge. Happy Earth Day! Find a way this month to take action. Emerson and its employees are engaged across the world with conservation and sustainability actions for ourselves, our customers, and our planet. Here's a few snaps from my 100% carbon commute into the office today. Ready for the sustainable...

Our garden club had our annual seedling event last week. I got tomatoes, basil, rosemary, jalapeno and poblano peppers, and a geranium. Looking okay so far! They need to stay indoors for another month or so.

I made a small pile of everything that would have gone in the garbage. It is small, but includes some recurring things like some packaging on skin care products I buy. I need to find an alternative that has less packaging than the actual container of product! And I will keep recycling and composting and saying no to things I don't really need.

It was a chilly and windy Saturday so it was a good day to visit all the Earth Day vendor displays at a nearby mall.
