To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Our area is located at the foothills of Sierra Madre. Ending the last day of Earth Month, we went to Victoria Valley Antipolo for an impromptu trip to where the Bombax ceiba trees grow to collect seeds as a part of our community's conservation efforts.

In last week's webinar focused on Conservation and Action, speakers Brooke Tully talked about the Diffusion of Innovation Theory which applies to the way ideas are spread using "The (Audience) Wave" as an example and how we are still at the "Early Majority" phase.

By making environmentally conscious choices more mainstream, we can let people know that making mindful choices is possible. We can let people know how we started and how it is going as we hope to inspire even just 1 person.

Let's make these 2 days count and carry on the sustainable habits we've developed beyond Earth Month.

Going outdoors is almost impossible lately but when you do, you wouldn't believe how beautiful the sky is and the creatures that come out when the sun is down. Bats, insects and this ....

Today, I got my hands dirty and transplanted about 6 Bombax ceiba seedlings into smaller pots. When they're ready, our group of native plant advocates will be planting these in their natural habitat.

What did I do to celebrate Earth Day? I walk/ran for an hour around our neighborhood and appreciate the terrains, flora and fauna in our area.

I must being my binoculars next time to see the birds upclose

Yesterday, it took me half a day to declutter all of the toys that are no longer played with by my growing kids. We are more than happy to give these to their cousins who will surely enjoy pretend plays with these preloved toys
