Deforestation and desertification is a serious matter. As one person, I think I can contribute by advocating for more sustainable farming and agribusiness, and also joining tree-planting and reforestation efforts.

What new insights did you gain about the skincare products you use? Did you reach out to advocate for refillable or recyclable packaging?

Skincare products play a crucial role in maintaining healthy skin. Let's be aware of the ingredients used in every product we use and let us support brands that says no to animal cruelty. I was able to send an email/message to a local brand and suggested/encouraged them to develop recyclable packaging for their products since they claim that their products are made with good intentions and they are one with the planet.

My husband and I was able to go for a morning walk in the neighborhood. Walking promotes more bonding for us. It also offers a wide range of benefits for both physical and mental health.
Physical heatlh: improves cardiovascular health, enhances strength and flexibility and boosts immune function.
Mental health: reduces stress and anxiety and boosts/improves mood.

"Bees are vital to bio diversity. There are 130,000 plants for example for which bees are essential to pollination, from melons to pumpkins, raspberries and all kind of fruit trees — as well as animal fodder — like clover.

Bees are more important than poultry in terms of human nutrition."

Mental health - Improve mood and enhancing well-being
Physical health - Promotes strength, and flexibility. Spending time outdoors exposes us to fresh air and sunlight, boosting vitamin D levels
Spiritual health - Foster a sense of connection with the Earth and a feeling of stewardship towards environment. Many cultures and spiritual traditions consider trees a symbol of growth, renewal and life, contributing a sense of purpose.

Last day of ecochallenge. I have learned so much knowledge and experienced a lot. Let us all be reminded that what we all have in common is Earth, and the resources it has is limited so it is everyone's responsibility to protect it. Congratulations everyone! 🌎🍀💗
