I would like to get better at bringing reusable grocery bags to the store for the rest of earth month!

I learned that both zoos in Minnesota participate in cooperative breeding to protect against extinction, and how the program works. I also learned about another program that encourages recycling electronics to save gorillas, so that's interesting!

Picking up even one piece of trash makes the area look better, and safer for children and wildlife nearby.

Carpooled to work today! It gets easier if you set up a routine and everyone is on the same page.

For Keurig-style coffee pods, I assumed they were fully recyclable and treated them as such. Disappointed to learn how harmful they can be in waste-disposal system. I switched to a coffee maker (with a reusable filter) to fulfill the caffeine need!

I have tasked myself with educating my family and strongly recommending simple actions to accomplish conservation goals and habits.

It felt great to be outside and feel the sun on my face!

By picking up litter in my neighborhood, I keep the entire area nicer for those around me and help keep the environment safe for animals!

I typically buy a drink at lunch, but will not today.

We walked around our neighborhood and into the park to play and run around. Our daughter was able to enjoy the fresh air and we got some much needed exercise
