Great day to spend some time in the sun and woods with friends on bikes for a few hours, and packing out trash and bottles we found while riding.

Really enjoyable coming home to this view each day. Awesome time of year.

Instead of throwing out or buying new items for my move this month, I have bought and sold things second hand

It sets an ownership example of taking care of a condition that I didn't necessarily create, but it affects me personally as well as could impact the wildlife in and around the neighborhood. And also, its the right thing to do and hopefully someone see's me in action and embraces a new personal habit.

It's relaxing and rewarding to see the outcome of your efforts.. and it brings a smile to your face too.

It's great to meet new people and share an appreciation for making a difference in our community. It carries over from the volunteer location to our own neighborhood.

Definitely use less oil and even taking into consideration the types of foods we prepare avoid the creation or use of oil entirely. Hope my annual physical results show some good numbers!

Lots of planting last year and with the spring weather, we're seeing them again. Daffodils, hyacinth, krocus, and trees with new buds and early spring flowers.
