Read an interesting article: https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-solutions/2025/04/12/air-pollution-paris-health-cars/ Premise: In the last two years, Paris has transformed much of its roads and parking into green spaces, giving priority to people walking or cycling. Amongst other green measures, this has lead to big drops in fine...

We recently visited the Serengeti National Park with our 4-year old daughter. It was an amazing experience about how endangered some of the most iconic animals are. Cheetahs and leopards in particular are becoming extremely rare. Less than 700 wild cheetahs and 300 leopards are left in an area of 30,000 square kilometers.

We recently visited Zanzibar and Tanzania with our 4-year old daughter. It was a great learning experience about the importance of clean water and the need to preserve it

The construction industry is ripe for disruptive innovation. Two examples. We use technology to enable faster, less time consuming, higher quality and digitally enabled site inspections. This reduces human and paper footprint, among other benefits. Another example: we also specify more sustainable ‘green’ concrete, when allowed by local...

Moving to Dubai I have become aware of the air quality. The United Nation identifies air pollution as the top environmental health risk globally, with around 6.5 million deaths annually from indoor and outdoor pollution. Alarmingly, 9 out of 10 people breathe outdoor air that exceeds the permissible levels recommended by the World Health...

I gathered my friends to celebrate my two years at Parsons and my achievements. It was great, and I didn’t face any challenges at all.

Interesting learnings from the Ecochallenge Site Did you know? Not every bee can be a honeybee: Honeybees are only one of about 20,000 bee species. Did you know? Bees perform a waggle dance, which informs other bees the direction and distance of food or water.

At the start of Earth Month, I visited the mountains of Sharjah, Wadi Shees - which is a beautiful blend of history and culture. I explored the Nature Trail which winds through farms, date palms, and is one of the oldest falaj (Arabic word which means 'split into parts) irrigation systems in the country—still functioning after nearly 3,000 years!

Visited Daymaniyat Islands in Oman—a protected marine sanctuary. Just floating there, I remembered something I hadn't thought about in years... During my internship with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation, I learned how conservation is about more than protecting nature-it's about reconnecting and sharing it with the world. So here's my...
