April 18 at 3:00 PMOver halfway there and there's so much I've learned about seaweed and how it can fight climate change. Particularly, aspergosis seaweed can reduce methane emissions significantly if put in cows' food. I hope this can scale and we can reduce methane emissions by 50-90%, which would be a huge deal for the planet.

April 18 at 9:34 AMMost of my carbon emissions are from travel and consumption. One thing I can go to reduce emissions on the travel front is to ask for an electric vehicle when I book a taxi. When it comes to consumption, I can prioritize buying more locally grown food, reduce my use of plastic, and prioritize buying wooden and bamboo products.

April 18 at 1:46 AMOver the past 17 days, I’ve focused on building connections with others while also making small but meaningful changes in my daily habits. I’ve been paying more attention to my health, which has felt really rewarding, and I’ve also started using reusable bags to reduce waste. It’s amazing how these small actions can add up over time, and I’m...

April 18 at 1:44 AMIt was inspiring to discover how many people in my area share similar values when it comes to sustainability, local support, and creating a positive environment. By building connections with my neighbors, I’ve realized how much stronger our community can be when we work together. Whether it's helping one another in times of need, or simply...

April 17 at 1:06 PMI've spent the last week or so taking ~5 minute showers, which not only has saved gallons of water, but also has saved time in terms of getting ready in the morning. It's easy to get lost in the shower but I feel like lately I've been more disciplined about it and am trying not to waste water.

April 17 at 12:07 PMYesterday I visited a local yarn store for some crochet supplies instead of visiting a large chain. They were SO friendly and helpful, and I'm so glad to have discovered them in my area! They also shared about some activities/meetups they host so I'm hoping to attend one of those soon and further build community!

April 17 at 10:07 AMI have a "multi-functional" task which incorporates, meeting a neighbor, random acts of kindness and exercise. LOL. We are re-sodding our yard and our neighbors sprinklers are watering our yard too much, so not only do we get to interact and meet them, we also can offer to fix their sprinklers all while preparing the yard and removing...
