Was so happy to see so many out today for a community tree planting! Way to go Guelph! Thanks to Trees for Guelph for organizing, we had lots of fun get our hands on the dirt! Check out one of our trees we planted!

Reducing food waste...I think one way to be more mindful of this is to grow your own! By planning, planting, watering and picking (or seeing the joy when your kids find peas or tomatoes growing) - all that effort - I want to make sure it is fully enjoyed = 0 waste! Nothing interesting to report, unfortunately there were quite a few bags of dog poop left behind. It was a nice opportunity to connect with teammates and we received a lot of thanks from people walking by.

Ecole King George (on Lemon St.) is hosting a Kids clothing drive on Saturday, April 26, 12-4. Everything is free and open to all. What a great way to give new life to clothes! We've gone in the past and gotten a bunch of great things for the kids!

Cleaned up a pathway in my neighbourhood that had a ton of trash! It looks much better now :)
