FYI for those who may be interested: Electric Vehicle (EV) owners are needed for a grad research survey. "If you are 18+ and own an Electric Vehicle, take part in this 10–15 minute survey to help shape future charging infrastructure," writes graduate student Diana Shakhova. "This project aims to explore electric vehicle (EV)...

I realized a new biking route to get to the movie theatre with less traffic. Also the route and location of what I call the "clearing" is known to me but I finally was able to get out to it for the first time this year and it didn't disappoint! I hope everyone has a chance to get out there and discover somewhere new and enjoy what...

Biking to get groceries is almost like a mini self-challenge. Even prepared with panier bags, it's so easy to buy more than can fit, then you have to get creative. It's part 3D jigsaw puzzling and part acceptance that if your bags are overloaded and one falls off while riding so that the 2 apple pies that your partner insisted on buying goes...

Taking shorter showers, gives me more time to do other stuff - it's awesome!

There aren't a lot of businesses in my area that I am not already familiar with. But this weekend I discovered there's a pharmacy going into a plaza nearby.

I went to a few different parks for walks, but my favourite place was called “three pieces” downtown! It’s an excellent clothing store and the owner, Bobby, is so amazing! All his clothes are made second hand and he’s incredibly talented. Go visit if you can!

Nice work gang! We hit the 100 teammates mark... I think I'm feeling 150 now! Some serious collective impacts going on here: Over 5,000 litres of water saved, almost 700km not travelled by car, more than 120kg of CO2e saved! Keep up on the actions, 2 weeks, only 2 weeks to go.

My wife encouraged me to join her for the morning walk and we went around the nearby trails. Saw and heard a few woodpeckers! That made my day! Unfortunately also saw a few more cut trees... Probably because of ash borer. Hats off to the trails maintenance teams. The trails in Guelph are top notch and really save me... Even on those cold days...

I try to avoid packaging as much as possible but can always do better. I chose certain products based on packaging, like oatmeal in paper container versus plastic or even better yet, bringing my own containers to the bulk barn to eliminate any packaging.

I walk 5 kms, 5-6 days per week, mostly before I get ready for work :)
