    I am saving lightbulbs to be disposed of at a lightbulb recycling center. It is quite out of the way because I travel by bus, but I don't want to contribute negativity to waste.

    Walking to the bus today with my 4-year-old, we saw a wrapper on the ground and she pointed to it saying “that’s not good for the planet’s future.” I asked her what she thought we could do and she said “put it in the garbage.” So I picked it up and brought it home to put in our garbage bin. “Easy peasy”

    Have been thinking about this alot as of late, but to me, resilience means adapting to environmental change, and the ongoing effort to look after our environment. More importantly, for me, as it relates to earth month, that I'm taking small and thoughful steps towards a healthier planet & community for my kids in their future
