Joined Ridwell to increase assurance plastics are recycled and open additional options for items previously ending in landfills. Also greater recycling at various events and at the storefront on Recology (used oil, hardback books). Thanks to those organizations for their help, now we just need a better solution to prevent use!!

I have composted for years and every day I reflect on how this simple step can avoid more garbage in our world and be a resource to regenerate, even as energy/food for plants, I feel good contributing to that rather than the landfill! The only problem I have is, what to do with rubber bands, metal ties and stickers that are on the produce I purchase before consuming and then composting.,,,Hm? Any ideas out there?? Thanks :)
