April 17 at 11:23 AMPersonal goals for me are to reduce/eliminate use of PLASTIC and non-recyclable PAPER; I automatically go for plastic garbage bags and have an odd reliance on paper towels. These are ingrained habits that I want to stop. I'm hoping this Ecochallenge experience will give me tips/tricks on how to avoid and retrain myself.

When you see the gallons saved — for example, cutting one minute from an 8‑minute shower can save about 2.1 gallons per shower, or roughly 3,000 gallons per month, you start to recognize the scale of your daily water use.
