We've got a big weekend with a few earth day events planned. Hoping the rain doesn't cancel things! Anyone else celebrating Earth Day this weekend?

While out for a hike last night in a park near us, saw a couple of vultures hanging out in the trees

Half-way through the Eco challenge, we are in third place after the green and red Alliance teams. Earth day is coming up next week on April 22, so let's plan more actions Blue Team!!!

Perfect day of spring with my son to be outside. This evening, he created a beautiful mineral arrangement with stone and spiky balls from an american sweet gum!

The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum brings the journey of 1803-06 to life at the riverfront in historic St. Charles. 220 years later, I am trying to imagine how was the river and nature at that time.

When it starts to warm up, I'll start walking with my son to the bus stop rather than drive him, so we can both enjoy a little exercise and fresh air together. That might be a tough sell to a 13yo at 6:30, but it would be good for us and the environment.
