Participated in the first riversweep of the year yesterday for my hometown. Feeling the burn this morning, but it was so rewarding to see what we accomplished in a few hours.
What did you enjoy or learn from attending a local event in your community? How did participating in this event deepen your connection to your local area?
We made a lot of connections today at the Earth Day Festival of STL. We discussed our Climate Pledge of the year, found an organization to recycle glass nationwide, and saw how the world bird sanctuary helps injured birds to recover!
