When it starts to warm up, I'll start walking with my son to the bus stop rather than drive him, so we can both enjoy a little exercise and fresh air together. That might be a tough sell to a 13yo at 6:30, but it would be good for us and the environment.

Bike ride after work along the Missouri river, it stimulates the body and the spirit!

Unicorn evening with no kid activities! Had dinner at home, played some street tennis, and planned our spring plants 🪴

We use concentrated laundry strips that come in an envelope, for the same number of washes as a big plastic jug.

Tis the season for Eagle Scout projects, and I've been impressed with the community support offered to these young people. One boy created fishing line disposal receptacles for 2 local parks. Another Scout is making bird feeders to donate to a local retirement home. Another is creating a hammock village in our largest park so people can enjoy...

Each year, Young Champions of the Earth are selected, one from each global region: Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, West Asia and two from Asia and the Pacific. Each winner receives: Mentorship, capacity building workshops and access to a UN community of experts An introduction to dignitaries at the Young...

With all the rain, the worms keep seeking shelter in our garage. My son insists on rescuing them from drying out, and then tells us every time how critical they are to our ecosystem :) I'm all for it and give him a high five...after he washes his hands.

With all the flooding lately around EVV, there's been plenty to discuss with my little environmentalists.

Explored a new park today call Dusable Park which means Sand Park in French. The park is along the Missouri River and gives access to a bridge that now has a bike road...great opportunity to cross the river where Lewis and Clark started their travel through America!
