Recent updates from this team-
April 14 at 11:38 AMLearning about the 7 principles of leave no trace, I hadn't previously thought much about camping only on durable surfaces. I feel like this could easily be extended to spending time in parks/outdoors to even just set-up chairs and tables for a day outside to now be mindful that they should only be set-up on durable surfaces.

April 14 at 10:31 AMDay 14: I saw some bees buzzing around the wild violets and dandelions in my back yard yesterday! It was a good reminder how beneficial it can be to wait to cut the grass until we get closer to summer if possible.
-
April 14 at 10:25 AMDay 13: This Sunday I spent a lot of time in my yard tending to my landscaping!
-
April 14 at 9:44 AMI think it's going really well! I am having a good time really putting in the effort to learn how to be an even more environmentally conscious person and am applying a lot of this new knowledge to my everyday life! But especially in my home garden ;)
-
April 14 at 9:03 AMI learned how important the site is to the local community. It is important to protect and support history sites so that we can learn from them.
-
April 14 at 8:46 AMIt is an easy task to accomplish. Just keep several reusable bags in your car.
-
April 14 at 8:35 AMI think I respect the Leave No Trace principles anytime I hike or camp, even if I didn't previously know them by heart. I would like to be more mindful vegetation or soil in the future.
-
April 14 at 8:32 AMI researched native ground covers to plant in an area of the yard that used to be a flower bed. I want to plant a native ground cover instead of grass to eliminate the need to mow in this area. I've decided to go to a plant nursery and ask for a recommendation for a native species to plant.

April 14 at 8:15 AMAfter, I felt ready to tackle a long task ahead.
-
April 14 at 8:14 AMExercising always helps clear my mind, brings a kind of stillness similar to meditation. Grateful to have gotten a good workout in between tasks!
