I have bee friendly flowers and plants seeds ready to go in my garden this year. I'm also in the process of making a bee hotel which I plan to hang from my cherry tree this weekend.

I wasn't surprised by lamb and beef being creating a large carbon footprint, but I didn't think further how cheese and yogurt also contribute to high carbon emissions.

I have been quiet on here, because my main goals are hydrate without using one time use bottles and remember to use my reusable grocery bags. I have cute bags, but they're kind of dirty, so I won't take pictures of them, and I have my starbies tumbler with the micro dice in the lid. I use them and guess how many things I replaced. I round down,...

You can change your light bulbs to more energy efficient ones, turn off what you're not using, unplug items not in use and maybe sit in the dark for a bit until you really need that light on.

I'm looking forward to watching the hydrangea and spirea grow in my small city backyard. I won't be able to put out flowers until it warms up consistently, but feel getting in the shrubs was an accomplishment and first of many steps. By the time I'm finished I'm hoping to create a little sanctuary for native species, and especially bees and...

Bertha did not get cleaned up yesterday, and she won't be cleaned today. *glares at rainclouds* We need the rain. And at least it is warm, and not frigid. You'll be seeing me walking to the bus stop cursing the rain after work if it doesn't let up like it did this morning. I've got water bottle game down. The office water cup has been...

This one has been pretty easy for me. I've been using my own bags for many years while working in town. I also use them every time I go grocery shopping and other errands. The few times that I forget to take a bag, that bag that I receive goes straight to my recycle bag of bags to drop off.

I learned that I have still have a lot to learn about decluttering. It is hard to part with certain items just like the articles said. I do want to donate and try to sell a few items just to get rid of things. I have learned to cut my trash down and try to recycle much more.

I love checking in my local Buy Nothing group on Facebook -- I get to know my neighbors and share items that would otherwise go unappreciated.
