"My life's journey is to become a Shaman. Part of the journey is knowing, we cannot heal ourselves, if we cannot first heal our environment. My mission is to make an impact to help the earth heal as I walk on this journey to heal myself and others around me. We are all one; the air, the water, the animals, the trees, the plants, all elements and all energy exist as one, my goal is connect as many others as I can to that truth, and make the world a better place."

    Winged spirit of sweetness,
    I call on you.
    Teach me the ways of
    Transformation and fertilisation,
The path from pollen to sweetness honey.
Teach me to taste the essence
    Of each place I alight,
    Carrying that essence with me
    To continue creation’s cycle.
Teach me the ways of hope,
Reminding me that what seems impossible
    May yet be achieved.
    Flitting tears of the gods,
Draw me ever closer to the wisdom
    Hidden within beauty.
    Give me flight and sunlight,
    Passion and productivity,
    Cooperation with those around me
And sharpened strength to defend my home.
May I ever spiral out from my heart,
    Searching for what I need,
    And return there once again
To turn those lessons into nourishment.
    Bee spirit, I call you.

I found an old carpenter bee. I have been giving him a comfortable place to rest and been bringing him nectar and pollen. I just can't bring myself to watch him die alone. These bees am have been around my home for years, and they know my face. He was reaching up to me for help, then when I put him own again, he mustered up enough energy to fly up on me..and hasn't left my side. I made him a nice little bee house underneath my carport where we should t every day

ohmygosh, can we be friends? I love this. thank you. It makes me think of a meme I saw online about how our childhood fear of bees has taken a 180 turn. Instead of shooing them away, we offer to loan them our car (or in your case, build them houses)! Yesterday when I was swimming I found a little bee floating (drowning) and gave him a hand while he dried off. It felt like a sacred little connection. I think we're in the same club :)

It was amazing. So much excitement and energy from them. It is great to get our youth excited about nature. You never really pay attention to how many brand names..and cooperate names our children know through consumerism..but how little they know about plant names and hot to identify plants. Thia was a great opportunity to expand their minds!

We did an energy audit and a waste audit. Their eyes were open to how much waste we create, not only with garbage, but also wasting energy. They are very smart and insightful, so they decided to make changes. They are now wanting help me recycle and turning off more lights and devices and unplugging electronics that aren't being used. I learned how resilient out youth can be if guided in the right direction
