    I've recently started using an app called 'SCREEN ZEN' recommended by a colleague. It has transformed my productivity drastically enabling me to cut down the mobile distractions caused by automated habit of just checking phone randomly after I wake up, take a break from work etc. The app is free and has some great features like : selecting the app which distract the most, set timer to unlock those with custom messages.

    The way it works is as soon as I reach out to my phone to open the app, it reminds me ' is it important?' with a count down timer of 20 seconds which delays the impulsive urge, allowing to reflect why am I even opening the app in the first place. It is super amazing and I highly recommend to those who're struggling with distractions, phone/app addiction or generally who'd want to take an action to identify the automatic habits affecting their overall wellbeing. Hope you give it a go!
