Dumagat folks were scattered throughout the mountain ranges when their low-lying sea-based habitats were occupied by modern folks.

Those that we met had come from their village to receive gifts and useful items to have for the daily needs. Children received footwear, clothes, and school supplies to help them with literacy and practical education at home.

Inspired to hear that there is now at least 1 practicing attorney-at-law in the tribe, 1 scholar in a local college, and quite a handful of basic education students.

Appreciate the donations sent through colleagues in the alumni community and my team in this EcoChallenge and at work.
