    Snakes
These predators are important to our local fauna to control population of other species, such as rats or insects.

There is still a lot of fear when it comes to seeing snakes in person. People are in shock to discover snakes in bathrooms or tubs, so they would rather kill or dispose of the animal than capture and release.

Was able to rescue such snake and gave it a temporary home.

I'm glad that folks at home offer me their vegetable trimmings, such as kangkong stems, onion/radish/taro skins, tomatoes, etc. when they cook Pork Sinigang for the day.

I've always taken these scraps at the chopping board to feed the garden bunnies, reducing kitchen wastes significantly. What's left over is added to the compost heap with the rabbit manure.
