Picking up litter made me pay more attention to my surroundings and realize how much trash goes unnoticed. It changed how I see public spaces and made me appreciate the effort it takes to keep them clean. Seeing the difference firsthand definitely makes me want to be more mindful moving forward.

Spending time outside helped me slow down and notice things I usually overlook (fresh air, birds, a change of scenery). It was a great mental reset. It helps clear my mind and reduce stress.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land, Water, and Air
How did being mindful of vehicle idling change your perspective on fuel consumption and air quality? What other transportation habits can you adopt to reduce your environmental impact?

    • 7-DAY STREAK
Being mindful of vehicle idling made me realize how easy is to waste fuel without thinking about it. I never really thought about what my car idling does because it was just something I always did out of habit. Cutting back on idling not only saves gas but also helps reduce emissions. Moving forward, I can be more intentional about planning more efficient routes, and maybe even walking or biking for short trips when possible.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community and Connection
How did checking in with someone strengthen your relationship or provide support? How did it feel to reach out and connect?

    • 7-DAY STREAK
Checking in with someone reminded me how important small moments of connections can be. Whether it was a quick message or a longer conversation, it helped strengthen my relationships by showing I care. Reaching out felt good. It's easy to get caught up in daily routines, but taking the time to connect made a difference for both of us.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How did exercising each day impact your physical or mental well-being? What activity did you enjoy most, and why?

Exercising each day definitely helps me clear my mind and boost my energy levels. Even on days when I don't feel like moving, just getting started makes a big difference. It reminds me that small, consistent actions add up over time — kind of like sustainability. The activity I enjoy the most is anything cardio related, because it's an easy way to stay active without it feeling like a chore.

I joined this challenge to be more mindful of the small ways I can contribute to a healthier planet. Sustainability isn't just about big changes — it's about the little habits we build every day. Through this challenge, I'm learning how to make simple adjustments that add up over time.
