Spent the day at Rosemount Tank Radar i Gothenburg today, always feels a bit like coming home! Today's picture is one of nature's little wonders, my crooked little birch tree. I don't know how it turned out this way but it's one of my (many) favorite spots at our little cabin.

Every time I do something like this I feel like I'm only scratching the surface but little by little I learn. I've tried to better understand what my schampoo/conditioner and body lotion contain plus l generally limit the number of products I use. Remember to always make sure these types of products aren't tested on animals as well.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
Are you a gardener or house plant lover? Why or why not? What do you need to elevate your plant care skills?

I love plants but regardless how much I read about them I rarely have much success. For indoor plants I focus on ensuring they are not toxic to my cats, and for outdoor I mainly try for edible plants, preferably perennials.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
What project or organization did you choose to support, and why did it resonate with you? What are some ways you can continue to support wildlife conservation beyond financial contributions?

I chose to donate to the Swedish "animal ambulance" - an organization supporting transportation of sick and injured animals to suitable veterinarians/rehab centers. They also help spread knowledge about what to do if you encounter injured animals in the wild.

I love the concept of an animal ambulance organization! Until I read your post and did an internet search, I had no idea that the Houston Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals offers this service. According to their website, it's the only one in the entire Texas Gulf (of Mexico) Coast region. I just posted about it on my feed. Thank you for the inspiration, and thank you for supporting the Swedish animal ambulance organization!

I've always admired my mother for her ability to bring joy to people around her with compliments and small gestures or gifts. I've used her as my inspiration and it's so nice to see the reaction of people who are surprised by something small.
