Learn to Be a Responsible Pet Owner

Being a responsible pet owner means minimizing the impact pets have on wildlife by keeping them indoors, never setting them 'free' into nature, and supervising pets when they are outside to prevent them from hunting or disturbing wild animals. This also keeps our pets safe from harm. I will spend 10 minutes learning about ways to ensure my pet’s behavior and care practices protect local wildlife and their ecosystems.

We have a lot of ponds near where I live. My girls love the spring time when you can start seeing all the duck and goose babies! We always try to pick up litter around the ponds when we can.

Windy garbage days can indeed be frustrating! Here are a few quick tips to help manage the situation:

      1. Secure Your Trash: Use heavy-duty trash bags and ensure lids are tightly closed.
      2. Timing: Put out your garbage closer to pickup time to minimize exposure to wind.
      3. Community Action: Advocate for better practices with your local waste management services.

I have transferred to using more plant based/natural home cleaning products. It feels great to not seem like you're just spreading toxins/chemicals around your house for everyone to breathe in.
