    • 8-DAY STREAK
The other day, when walking to/from my home to a neighborhood park, as well as around the park, I thought that I might complete the walk without seeing any trash on the ground, but near the end of my walk in the park, I found a plastic bottle cap. One day, perhaps I can take this walk and not see any trash.

I hosted a guided prayer walk in a city park today. It's a good way to practice spirituality in nature.

I find that I am generally only getting outside when I need to run an errand. I don't drive, so errands mean i walk or bike.

I can relate! But taking breaks away from your screen is pivotal for your health and mental well being… for everything else there is always this option:

Today I spent time outdoors participating in the Walk for the Wild, which raises funds for conservation programs at the Houston Zoo. It's fun, as the walk takes place on zoo grounds and you can see the animals while you walk. The Walk for the Wild is an annual event.

The time I spent outdoors today was at the Hands Off Protest in a park in front of city hall in Houston. I wasn't there to enjoy nature, but the activity was meaningful nonetheless. Here's an article on the more than 1000 protests that happened today: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz79ewg193ro
