Thank you for this post and love the replies too! We did a sustainability moment in our meeting last month and this slide on, "The Impact of What you Eat" that was on our sustainability hub. I had to read why rice was high, but it was due to anaerobic activity that produced methane. Most people don't think of changing their diet when reducing carbon emissions, but it was the most impactful! -

So True Eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat is good for: Yourself: Better health and weight control. Others: Supports local farmers. Planet: Reduces pollution and saves water. My favorite was strawberries! 🍓

Absolutely! Even just have vegetarian meals once a week can have an impact. Or switching from beef to a more fish focused diet can be better for your heart AND the environment!
